Okay, so it's not reallly a DEEP freeze, but it's cold enough to form a layer of ice on my bird bath. My smart kitty, Dahlia, had enough sense to walk gingerly on the ice, causing it to crack enough to allow some water through, which she promptly drank. Never mind that I have water outside the back door for her.
